OUR JANUARY 2026 FREE EVENT

Brima S. M. Jah, LMFT is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 16 years of experience across residential, community-based, nonprofit, hospital, and private practice settings. He currently works at Kaiser Permanente and also maintains a private practice serving primarily Black LGBTQIA+ communities.

His clinical work is grounded in relational theory, social justice, strengths-based approaches, expressive arts therapy, body-centered awareness, and trauma-informed care. Drawing from both lived and professional experience, Brima understands the challenges—and the resilience—that come from holding multiple identities. He is deeply committed to reducing stigma around mental health and supporting both individual and collective healing within Black LGBTQIA+ communities.
